Positionality Statement
As small business owners and advocates for necessary reform of the sector, we reflect often on our positionality as white, educated, cis-het women in this work. Through learning, reflection, feedback, and dialogue with our partners, our approach is responsive and evolving. We acknowledge our privilege and role in dismantling harmful systems that reinforce the inequitable status quo. Our work strives towards collective liberation, and in partnership, we center the communities our practice serves.
